- Boasting a long history and tradition of 81 years, Daejeon Institute of Science and Technology is a specialized university with the best educational environment of the central region, located in Daejeon, the middle of Korea.
- The ultimate educational outcome of our university is to provide an optimal curriculum and state-of-the-art educational facilities, and to provide education based on the faith of Christianity with character education of practice, sharing, and communication, and we strive to cultivate the most proficient professionals required by the 4th Industrial Society by putting all our efforts into practical, skills-oriented education through which our students can quickly adapt to their field practice.
- In addition, we devote all our energy to help graduates find jobs, concentrating all our efforts on ensuring and achieving 100 percent employment rate.
- Various scholarship and global internship programs have contirbuted to the creation of an academic atmosphere for students while the Central Library offers 1,200 seats and over 330,000 books and educational resources as an integrated academic information center. The school also has a modern hotel-type dormitory 'Hongeunhaksa' capable of housing about 740 students. In addition, Hyechon Tower Carillon with 78 bells, authenticated by the Guinness Book of World Records to be the world's largest carillon, delivers a message of 'never give up' symbolizing the dynamic leadership of young and robust Daejeon Institute of Science and Technology.
